Kids at the Farm!

Kids from the Northside to NW Wisconsin!

In late September 2016, 85 students from Lucy Craft Laney Community School in Minneapolis traveled to the farm for a day of educational workshops and a picnic lunch. We worked with many local farmers and educators to provide hands on learning in small groups. Sylvia from Bull Brook Keep taught bread making. Erin from Pollinate MN taught bee keeping. Emily from Snake Discovery taught reptiles. Rama from Turnip Rock and Cosmic Wheel Creamery taught cheese making. Klaus from Whetstone Farm taught about lambs. It was an amazing day with these young Laney leaders! Inquisitive, curious, and open minded, we really enjoyed bringing City kids to the Country for a day.
